ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
In order to secure admission to class K.G. and above, an applicant has to pass the written entrance examination / Interview and submit the testimonials (official documents such as Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Medical Certificates stating blood group, Pass Report Card (Xerox etc). The school also has 10% SC/ST reservation policy as per State Government.

Registration begins in December for the new session for all the classes. Prospectus and admission forms are available in office between 10 am to 1 pm on all working days.

The age of the child as on 1st April of the current session should be

Registration begins in January for the new Session for all the classes. Prospectus, Know your student (KYS) and Admission Forms are available in Office between 10am to 1pm on all working days.

Entrance Examination :

After registration, depending on the vacancies available, the child will be asked to appear for a Scholarship test. After this, the decision regarding admission will be taken. The decision of selection for admission rests solely with the school Principal or his/her representative. Registration does not entitle the child for admission automatically.

After Admission :

Even after admission is granted, the Principal can/may, at any time, have a student's name removed from the school roll. It's in the Principal's sole discretion, the student has failed to abide by the discipline of the school and his/her presence is detrimental to the interest of other students of the school, the student can also be asked to leave the school if he/she has failed to come up to the required academic standard of the school. The students are responsible for the safety of their own books, pens, watches, tiffin carriers or any other articles which they bring to school. The school is not responsible for the loss of any student's possession. Therefore, it is not advisable to bring valuable articles such as expensive watches, gold ornaments etc. to school. The school management is NOT liable for any loss of property, damage/charges on account of injuries, fatal or otherwise, which may be sustained by the student, at any time during his/her stay in the school, in the school bus or while taking part in studies, sports and extra-curricular activities or any other form of activities of the school within or outside the school premises.

Fees and Refunds :

School tuition fee along with other charges should be paid from 10th to 15th every month. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. If fees is not paid prior to any examination, the child may not be allowed to appear in the examination and the result/s will be withheld.

School Notice :

* Children are periodically given Notices to take home, parents are requested to READ ALL THE SCHOOL NOTICES carefully as they contain important information.

Change of Address :

Parents are expected to intimate the school office, the change in address, telephone numbers of working place, residence or change in occupation.

Note :

The school allows students to bring only vegetarian food to eat during the break-time.

House System :

All students are placed in one of the four Houses Vrijyananda, Dayananda, Shradhananda and Lajpat Rai under Captains and Vice Captains (among students) and members of teaching staff are attached to take interest in their houses in studies, games and inter-house competitions etc. House-Incharges supervises all the House activities.

Damage to School Property :

The cost of the type of damage like furniture, equipments, glasses, apparatus, panes etc is chargeable from the parents. Absence from school Parents / guardian of the child are advised to ensure that their wards are regular and punctual to school or otherwise inform the reasons to Principal through school diary/ written application. For all classes 85% attendance is compulsory. Those who return to school after absenting themselves without leave application shall not enter the class without the permission of the Principal.

Withdrawal :

A clear calendar month notice in writing must be given before withdrawal of a child or a month's fee will be charged. For the withdrawal of a child at the end of the academic year i.e. March, two months notice must be given in the first week of January and fees must be paid upto 31st March.

Expulsion :

Membership of a child / children will be cancelled by the school for persistent bad conduct, indecent language, delibrate late payment of fees, violating school rules and regulations and unfriendly act of the child / children, parents, relatives or guardians against the institution or its administration or any other reason that the school or its management sees fit and necessary in the larger interest of the school, its children, staff or the management. Such expulsion from the school will have no liability on the part of the school and the dues paid will not be refundable.
Parent's failure to attend meetings called by the Principal amounts to lack of Co-operation and defeats the whole aim of education in such a situation, the school authorities will have no option but to request the parent to withdraw the child.

CLASS (IX) (ICSE) :


Science Stream:
English, Hindi, Social Studies (History & Civics, Geography), Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Mathematics, Arts/Computer Applications/Commercial Applications / Physical Education (one of these).
Commerce stream:
English, Hindi, Social Studies (History & Civics, Geography), Economics, Commercial Studies /Maths, Arts/Computer Applications/Commercial Applications / Physical Education (one of these).

Class XI (ISCE)


Science Stream:
English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics, Hindi / Computer Science / Maths (one of these).
Commerce stream:
English, Commerce, Accounts, Economics, Hindi / Computer Science / Maths (one of these).

Note:

Physical Education and SUPW & Community Services are compulsory for all classes.
Project work is compulsory as per the syllabus of council.
