Greetings to all on the occasion of ‘The Himalayan’ the 13th edition of our school magazine. It is the combined efforts of students and staff that our school magazine is so enjoyable and informative at the same time. Let me put in on record proudly that The Himalayan Public School has been ranked 5th in Uttarakhand by Education Today and we must remember that our city is an educational hub, having nearly 60 Council affiliated schools. Education is a never ending process and we have to constantly strive to improve and not sit on our laurels. Many poets and philosophers have written on the same lines.
The smiling and happy faces of students and staff members early in the morning give a lot of satisfaction and inspiration. This environment is healthy and reaffirms that we are working in an excellent milieu. The famous greek philosopher Aristotle said, ‘The complete man must work, study and wrestle’. So, we have to do physical activity along with studies. And that is what we do in our school.
Francis Bacon the father of English Essays said; ‘Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity’. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snow flake………..Words that outline the preciousness of time. We have to make every moment count as the very next moment, it goes in the past. A committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously to create a child centric school. Teamwork is the hall mark of The Himalayan Public School. I am very sure through joint efforts we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow.
Winners win , Winners lose but Winners play.
May God Bless Our School
